Where is the wedding taking place?
Our ceremony and reception will both take place at The Red Berry Estate in San Antonio, TX. The estate is conveniently located 15 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport and 10 minutes from the heart of downtown. Address: 856 Gembler Rd San Antonio, TX 78219
What is the dress code?
Our wedding will be a formal, black-tie event. We kindly ask our guests to show up and show out in their most elegant all-black attire. Think rich fabrics, timeless silhouettes, and classic ensembles.
Feel free to incorporate fun textures, embellishments, a touch of sparkle, or accessories that channel vintage glamour. Gentlemen, white collared shirts are perfectly acceptable!
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM. We recommend giving yourself extra time for parking and seating. If you are not seated at the start of the event, we will have to continue our ceremony without you. But no worries - you can catch up with us at the reception!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is ample free parking available on-site at the venue. However, ride share is encouraged for our party animals to ensure a fun and safe evening! :)
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided for our guests, but rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are available in the area. For those staying nearby, these are going to be the most convenient and economical options.
Are children allowed?
While we love your little ones, our wedding, including the reception, is an adults only (21+) event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a night out!
Am I able to bring a plus one?
We're honored that your plus one wants to celebrate with us, however, due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests that were formally invited. Your invitation and RSVP will specify if you have a plus one, otherwise we ask that you do not bring any additional guests. We will not be able to accommodate them.
What food will be served?
Guests will enjoy a selection of light hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, including Petite Beef Wellington, Mini Crab Cakes, and Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Bites. A plated dinner featuring a savory chicken entrée will follow during the reception. Kindly indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be held on the beautiful waterfront lawn of the historic Red Berry Estate. Cocktail hour will follow, with guests welcome to explore and enjoy both the speakeasy-style casino lounge and the main upstairs ballroom. Our reception will take place indoors in the grand ballroom to close out the evening.
What is the weather like in San Antonio in the month of May?
In May, San Antonio usually has warm weather with temperatures that can get as high as 90 degrees. Please plan accordingly as the ceremony will be outdoors. In the case of extreme weather, we will have alternate accommodations.
Can I take photos at the ceremony?
No, it will be an unplugged ceremony. We appreciate the excitement to document from your point of view, but we would love for you to just be present with us as we share our intimate vows. We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony so that our hired professionals can best capture the moment. Feel free to snap away at the reception!
Are there accommodations for out of town guests?
Yes, we’ve reserved a hotel block for our guests at a discounted group rate. You can find more information about booking under the 'Accommodations' section. Please book early as spaces may fill up quickly. There are also many beautiful and affordable Airbnb options near the venue.
What is the RSVP deadline?
The latest you will be able to RSVP is by Saturday, March 15th, 2025 so we can finalize all of our plans. We will have to assume you cannot attend if we do not receive a response by then.
Is there a gift registry?
We have chosen not to create a traditional gift registry and instead have set up a honeymoon fund. If you are able to contribute, your generosity will help us create unforgettable memories on our first trip as newlyweds and give us the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge after all the excitement of wedding planning.
Please know that your attendance is the greatest gift we could ask for, and there is absolutely no obligation to give toward this. Any and all contributions are appreciated more than you know. We can’t wait to see you and celebrate together!
What if I have additional questions?
For any other questions or concerns not listed here, we ask that you please contact Jada Wilson at 210-710-9121 or Alexys Mathis at 210-362-4353, not the bride and groom.
